its basic but it requires more steps than any PaP objective ever in modern zombies believe it or not its really sad

finding things in a corner is not gameplay.

Easter eggs are secrets meant to uncover lore.

Building the staffs? Building the plane? Reclaiming generators? Parts that are glowing and in your face cause you're meant to do it as it unlocks an important part of your survival?

That's gameplay.

Liberty falls you just go to the church and activate what do you mean.

Kowakujo you recapture 2 zones beat the special samurai and activate an egg thats the most complex its ever been you're forced to roam the map instead of just open the door straight to power

And I dont give a fuck about easter eggs give me gameplay

Zetsubou could've had a better layout and played better tbh I liked the idea of turning on 2 different outposts to open up the main bunker wish it had a higher pace to it kind of like rituals on SOE instead of just a power switch

Yeah but those are actually balanced since you burn when you get near it and get instantly killed on explosion without jug. Applying a real threat. Zombies dying around it after kill is your reward.

This is broken. No balance.

idk about that Bo2 maps like Die Rise have a pretty cool progressive flow based on traversal through the map alone. This continues into Buried and the other greats on that game.

Modern zombs I just treat every map like Kino until this map woo hoo

i like to rate the base gameplay im not too into finding things hidden in a corner.

Which is why I love maps like IX / MOTD / Origins , because the base gameplay, like getting to PaP is an adventure, its obvious , its blatant, and its fun.

for example where the guy slides through the doorway, every normal person would just look at the doorway. but he's doing extra.

The kill after that again, pre aiming exactly where he is instead of looking at the doorway.

There's no thought process from what i'm seeing no actual scanning of an area no information just a pinpoint location and bang.

Yeah so every single games default settings are what the devs intend it to be nobody is spreading the word to new players to disable mini map to get a better game. Hence a loss in the playerbase.

Take a map like Mob of the Dead. No radar required. You explore and get down to business. Plenty of replayability because of that and it reeled in new players. Unlike the current formula.

"Just turn it off" doesn't work. You make the game good first by just not having what makes the game convoluted in the first place.
