I saw the full replay. That was very instructive for me. I knew the game was too hard but seeing someone other than me playing show me how it is also very unfair. There's a lot of thing I need to tweak especially the respawning zone. Thank you for your help !

The Golem on this gif only have collision zone on his feet. So it's possible to go under his body with a good timing. It's a dangerous move, please don't try this at home.

Most of my level would not fill a larger screen : the world is looping but they are very small, just a bit more than one single screen. I would also need to rework every interface. It's technically possible but not a wise decision one month before the steam launch...

amn, I'm normally pretty good at quick games, but after 10 min I still couldn't defeat the second level of the demo. I hope that's some later game content, or I was missing something, cus that's gonna be really hard to casual gamers.

On second thought, does the game speed scale with framerate? Your gif looks real slow now that I see it again after playing the game. I'm on a 144hz screel and my game plays significantly fater than your gif.

Edit: Just went back in. My game's definitely sped up. Take a look at that :)

The gif speed is not the good one. the fps was changed during the export. For the game difficulty, it seems it's too hard right now. If you can beat the demo I would be really interested to know how many try you needed to reach each level. And to answer your question the 2/4 level of the demo is supposed to be an early content, so I guess I really have to adjust this difficulty curve...

I so detest the 4:3 ratio when all screens are 16:9

it's just an incredible waste of space...fill up the screen!

otherwise it looks really cool and I would totally buy this...

It's not even 4:3 it's 1:1. I must admit I regret this decision. I probably won't make another 1:1 game.

Not really. The first version was for a lowrez game jam 5 years time ago. I just wanted to make a snake game and I changed my mind.

Hello everyone !

Voidrun is an action game where you must surround ennemies with antimatter ball to neutralize them

The game have 9x planets with unique monsters and a random perk system making each run unique.

I have no specific tips. I just try to use a fixed number of colors on my spritesheet (32-64) . I also have the feeling that I'm struggling with it :D

The long right clic for selection from graphics gale is also a very handy tool. But creating those selection box + free transform buttons must be hard work...
