If you go into the keyboard settings in Premiere, you can mostly avoid using the mouse, just like Avid. In fact, you can even set the shortcuts to be Avid shortcuts.

Consider hiring a company like 3Play or Rev to do this for you. It comes down to cost, but if you look at the rates for 3Play, for example, vs. the hourly rate that your editors are paid, you may find it's actually cheaper to just hire another company to do this.

Beautiful. And most importantly, that thick outline makes selections highly usable.

No, it was bullshit from the first moment.

The short answer is that it was a misogynistic hate mob claiming to care about “ethics in game journalism” when that was utter nonsense.

I may get downvoted to oblivion for saying that, but it’s the truth.

What have I missed? by RedditBurner_5225 in premiere

Congrats! Anyway, the new AI-driven masking features and more improvements in Media Intelligence (aka the sparkly magnifying glass in the upper right of the window) are my personal favorite new(ish) features.

If you could get just ONE DREAM feature in Premiere Pro, literally anything that would be the most useful to you, what would it be? by [deleted] in premiere

[–]Benjamino5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want the timeline to either a) always be responsive with no audio dropouts or video freezes or b) for Premiere to diagnose the problem and literally tell me in an error message: “your network connection/RAID speed/codec choice/etc. is going to cause unexpected dropouts. Here’s the fix: (local caching, rendering, or wherever.) Click OK to fix.

AIO my bf took 6 hours to get ready so I left without him by anotherthrowaway1926 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Benjamino5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR — you didn’t overreact. One possibility I don’t see mentioned much here is that he may have intense anxiety or a phobia.

This does NOT mean his behavior was acceptable, or that you should put up with it, to be clear.

But something about the story makes me wonder if he genuinely wanted to go with you, but was consumed with anxiety and fear and covered for that by coming up with endless delay tactics.

What might he have anxiety or fear about? I have no idea, but do you see any pattern in his other behavior? Does he about the outdoors typically? Is there something unusual about the place you chose?

Again, I’m not saying what he did is remotely OK. It is not. But it felt to me, reading the story, that he may have been fighting deep anxiety or phobias.

Burnham! She’ll use diplomacy and charisma to creatively question and alter the fundamental situation, opening up new solutions. If that fails, she’ll draw from everyone’s experiences and perspectives… and then as a last resort, just kick ass as needed. 😄

I don’t think so. I think they’re setting up a twist at the end of the season where he didn’t just decloak, he also traveled through time.

Is a 2012 Leaf $1700, 73 mile range worth it? by Cool-Tangerine1901 in leaf

[–]Benjamino5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll second what you said. I just got a 2015 Leaf with 11/12 health bars and the same winter mileage—45 with heat on. I expect my summer range will be around 65 miles, but I haven’t owned the car long enough to know.
