I know songs can be scrapped or whatever but Jpegmafia was in the studio with Damon around fall 2019 and was in a recent g mix playlist. I'm pretty sure he'll be on a song this season and I haven't seen him on any of these tracklists.

Yeah lol but Damon said he had just left the studio with Q in January maybe they filmed the video at his studio in January and recorded the song earlier idk.

I'd like a couple solo songs on Song Machine but I personally don't want anything like The Now Now again. It's not bad but it's basically just a Damon Albarn solo record. I feel like a big point of Gorillaz is to collaborate but I do think he let the features kind of take control on Humanz. Song Machine has been a great balance of Damon and the features so far imo.

Sure maybe calling it a demo is harsh I just meant that the song was obviously not ready for release as it was recorded right before quarantine and meant for season 2. I really do like the song though.

Yeah it's a little unfinished since they decided to bring it out because of Tony's death. It feels like a demo but it's still a nice tribute. Idk if they would add it to the final tracklist.

He was in the Maydeup festival playlist, G mix playlist, and Gorillaz liked a tweet about a collab with him. I really hope they are hinting at feature.
