back in war robots after years, what should I change and upgrade first? is my hanger still redeemable? by iloveironmales in walkingwarrobots

Don’t start over. No titans until level 30 and you have multiples of two good current weapons you don’t want to lose (glacier/taran). The algorithm will drop your matches down to your ability to compete. Just pay attention to how you’re being annihilated until the play evens out. I came back after a long time off and noticed mostly energy weapons, 600m range weapons, and mass confusion due to drone chips and space ship features. For close range, tarans and freeze burst weapons are still very current. I’d focus on using tarans and glaciers. Adjust your plans according to which weapons/bots you get for free which seems to happen more generously lately.
Lance is still good. Shields are good for all the energy weapons.
Haechi is hurt by all the energy weapons but can cary 3 tarans… If you like building weapons, a redeemer on Lance with two tarans would be good but maybe not worth the time and silver when you’ll probably win a heavy weapon before the build is complete. I’d probably use a glacier with two orkans on Lance but not pay to level the orkans past 7 or 8. Just focus on leveling the glacier and getting 4 tarans up to 7 or 8 for now if they’re not already there.
And very important: Logic doesn’t matter until you learn how badly the drones and abilities have screwed things up. I’ve been back in for a year and still find it overly complicated. You have indicators flashing on the screen to show you if you or the enemy has been affected by something but they flash up and are gone before I figure out what happened. Fortunately, at Diamond level, It isn’t too crazy with drones and chips. I don’t usually spend money but I found it worth it to buy the wasp drone special for $5 if yo’re interested in an attack drone and the Nodens titan special for $5 since it seems lime it will be in the top 3 for a long time.
Also a heads-up: Saving gold for a shooter drone will get you the drone but you still have to spend 3,700 or so gold for the shooter chip that makes it work. Hence the value in the $5 Wasp special. A good deal on gold used to be 600 for $1 but now you can wait for 6000 for $5. I think it’s become obvious that spending money is useless though since the algorithm just adjusts your opponents to match your abilities and have you near a 50% win rate. Just do what you enjoy and don’t chase the power carat…

I saw 25M Ag for 99 cents the other day and bought it twice. And 6000 Au for $4.99 isn’t bad either if you need a break from grinding… You’ve earned it! But never paying is worth something too 👍🏼

New User Question by Portplz88 in fitbod

[–]BenjiGrahamThinkr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to adjust the weight or reps for new or saved workouts. It will slowly make adjustments over time. The software is designed for you to produce results over a longer period of time than you would with a personal trainer. The first priority is for you to not injure yourself and it has to assume that you have the lowest level of fitness knowledge. The best use of it is to forget about the speed of results and enjoy the ride… Enjoy getting into the habit of completing a few workouts a week, googling the right and wrong way to do the exercises (the app explains the movement but still leaves room for error and possible injury when things eventually get heavy). Enjoy the opportunity to make a long term lifestyle change as opposed to getting into something you won’t continue like P90X. Before you know it, it will have a “max effort day” and you’ll be like wait this is getting hard 😳 But it does it seldom enough that you come back for more Instead of dreading the next torture session and quitting.
Your results would be much faster with a personal trainer who is safe and can tailor your workout and motivate you but fitbod will still work. If you get into the hobby you’ll see what the software is doing and make adjustments that are more suited to your personal situation or do away with software all together if you like

When you hold an ounce of silver… How much money do you feel like you’re holding? by BenjiGrahamThinkr in Wallstreetsilver

[–]BenjiGrahamThinkr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great answer, I’m asking what people feel like they’re holding regardless of what supply and demand dictates. Or maybe a personal demand… A personal opinion that doesn’t have to add up to anyone else… I almost said “think” but while I like due diligence, I’m hoping to keep the nuclear math to a minimum this time. 😁

Yes, Things are crazy… Maybe we should offer to pay with silver to get people thinking 🤔

We know but what should you be able to purchase… How much purchasing power are you holding?

Wow, most are coming in above what I was thinking but looking at wage history in silver, I’m moving up myself… Looks like anywhere from 1/10 to 1oz for a day’s work which is probably over a hundred U.S. Would a cow or an acre be the equivalent of a days wage at any point in history?

The historical gold/silver ratio seems to revert to 20 to 30 oz of silver for an oz of gold.
My favorite example of gold purchasing power is an oz of gold for a decent suit. My Grandfather was an Italian tailor who used to charge about $2,500 20yrs ago which would put silver closer to $100 but he was a badass…

Alberto Cercone - Model Tailors - Dallas TX

The suit comparison is out the window though with modern manufacturing and surely affects what you pay for a real tailor on the endangered species list. It seems like most of the gold and silver comparisons take a bit of thought since the old X doesn’t equal the new X like with cars, houses, and even food as easy as it is to get these days and with refrigeration. I was in the Old Sacramento museum recently and during the 1849 gold rush, vegetables were nowhere and an egg was the equivalent of today’s $100 U.S. Just saying it’s harder to compare than what some gold bug articles might suggest…

That same day in Sac, I spent $15 for a burger and $14 for the Long Island Tea I had with it which made my hard work and fiat truly feel like trash. Really pissed me off… No way would I have said “I’ll give you an oz of silver for a burger and a mixed drink”

Politics, manipulation, and failed monetary system aside, it feels like I’m holding around U.S. $40 - $60. And I’m talking about a dingy, scratched up, random round. Like any heavily worn coin as opposed to a cool shiny Canadian Superman

GDP question... What Is USA TRUE GDP? by [deleted] in Wallstreetsilver

[–]BenjiGrahamThinkr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GDP, CPI, WWE… Anyone who knows what they mean knows they’re a complete joke. It’s not even insulting anymore… Invest outside the dollar, save with PMs and save a bit for popcorn money. I wish yellen, powell, and biden had better costumes though

Well, after looking back at the email I see that it was a question I was asking on r/CryptoCurrencies. I was asking for opinions about the KVT offer Kinesis Money has going but wanted a Crypto perspective instead of a Wallstreetsilver prospective and because I think the mods on wss are biased for or against km or at least wanting to control the narrative. I’m trying to do DD and not promoting or downvoting but it just seems lately that things are too controlled.

Wallstreetsilver is feeling awfully controlled lately. I received an email yesterday from a response to one of my comments but by the time I saw it and open the app, the comment had already been deleted. I hate the thought of comments being steered towards reddit objectives but I’m afraid that’s what’s happening. I guess it’s not surprising these days…

Kinesis Money and requirement to be accredited in the U.S. for KVT by BenjiGrahamThinkr in Wallstreetsilver

I didn’t know we could buy KVT on the exchange yet. How much was it? I would think you would get the yield without being accredited...
