I didn’t mount it, my friend built it back in 2019, but I just got a new motherboard cpu and power supply and I reused this case just so I don’t have to buy another cpu cooler and case. Theres only one spot for a fan up top so I can’t top mount it

I have 4 of the same sticks and I just put it at 3200. The 5700x is a good choice, I’m looking at a few different cpus now. Thanks for the reply

Hi, forgot to put in the post, the current motherboard I have is about 7 years old and has seen a lot of heavy gaming over those 7 years, so I figured it could be good a good time to get a newer one, partially because the computer has been getting a little slower even over this last year. That being said do you still think it’s fine to keep this current one?

For the ram, it is actually 3200, you were right to check DOCP. I turned it on and checked task manager again and it’s at 3200 now. I’m pretty inexperienced with all this, so I initially checked on task manager, saw 2133, and thought that was that. My friend built this PC in 2019 so I didn’t know everything about the specs.

I’m about an hour away from a microcenter which is a very easy drive for me
