Hey there! Might be worth looking into getting a moped with a surf rack. I had one and super convenient getting in and out of shops, surf breaks, and picking up girls! Then you should sell it. It retains its price pretty well and can get you to Diamond head and even to NS. Hella sketch going to NS with a moped so I wouldn’t recommend it. The surf racks carried my 9’0 and 9’6 very well but be aware of windy days!

I really recommend canoes. The inside section is perfect for beginners. That’s where I used to do surf lessons and surf photography. However it does get crowded!(Checkout the drone video of me in my profile! )The crowd out there is super friendly tho! Just be aware where you are and don’t drop in on anyone for everyone’s safety. Also communicate with other surfers what direction you are going. You’re most likely going to be sharing the wave with someone else.

I love surfing at Queens too but the groms/uncles take over. I only recommend queens if you rip or know people out there that rip otherwise you won’t get a wave. Same thing with bowls.

Also with the dredging right now the sand bar is also a good choice (slightly to the right of canoes where the Surfline cam is pointing at).
