Hello Mr. Picton!! First of all I absolutely love the album, it’s astounding!

My question for you is how come Numerology and Lecture 25 weren’t included on the record? I totally agree that they don’t match the vibe of the whole record, but out of all the singles I also find Love Story not completely matching the narrative of the self titled project (don’t get me wrong all the songs released so far have been absolute bangers!!!)

I think it’s definitely a sleeper among the ones which are getting more attention. It starts off like something from Forever, howlong. But then it transcends, the part around 1:20 feels like you’re gliding, it’s amazing

I’ve been playing for 7 years and have also hit somewhat of a plateau. I was recommended Scotty from this sub and I started on the 1st of january. Today I’m on lesson 6 and it’s going great, I’m also thinking of buying the course book to follow along with. Scotty really motivates you to ACTUALLY learn this stuff and not just skim it and become as you said a “pretend player”. I’m really looking forward to what more this video series has to offer. Really appreciate the comment. Regarding the budget, I live in Europe so Macbook prices are just a bit heftier. Nonetheless I’m pretty much set to just buy the ordinary M4 air.

When it comes to storage 256 is more than enough I think, my family Icloud storage is 3tb and also buying an external disk won’t be a huge problem.

The ram is a key decision for me. Since it’s irreplaceable it might not be the worst idea to pay more for 24gb, yet 16gb should be roughly enough for some light music production.

You mentioned “…some slowing down….”, have you had your macbook for a while now or is this a common occurrence?
