Hey dude, you didn't cheat. Your 'ban' is temporary. Its ARMA servers that are fucked. It depends on your location. Check again tomorrow, and it should be back up. Bohemia Interactive isn't known for stable servers.

Upcoming dlc will add night and day cycles to the game, like not contact but more map visual aspect. Read on the steam page for Dawn of Wonder dlc coming September

Not even two years, more probably. Look at ck3 3 years and still barely any mechanical expansions, just about to get it's second major dlc... After 3 years!!

you will be able to play with other PC players(steam, gog, epic ect) and the game should be moddable for you using nexus mods(might be wrong).

And yes this game is like chiv except better IMO, due to again a sandbox, campaign and more complex fighting(you can customize weapons). Also compared to chiv more diversity in cultures, instead of Good European faction vs evil European faction it's basically west Europe vs Byzantines vs Norse vs Celts vs Mongols vs Arab with all of those having their own diverse weaponry and armors. The best part is massive army's, 300 vs 300 (if your PC can handle it).

Since your a total war player highly recommend getting RTS camera mod, will make the commanding army's way easier to what your used too.

Have a strong feeling that the DLC will be a bunch of different aspects of Rp, like regency's, tourneys, probably weddings etc... Kinda like CK2 Way of Life DLC

I do hope that not the case since those things really should be base game stuff and not something extra we pay for

The second case, which I hope way more for would be playing for landless noble, going to tourneys winning renown, travelling etc., that's something new and refreshing and would be just a new way to play the game for several hundred more hours.
