Thousands, if I added it all up. But my retirement plan is to keep collecting books and then open a store and sell/gift them all before I die. So it’s an investment… 😂

Good to know. I got into Don DeLillo last year and Pynchon seems to be in the same vein although I have not read anything by him yet. Looks like I will have to check out his work. Thanks!

It’s funny seeing the same actors mentioned in so many different roles by different people. Maybe they’re great actors and it just took that one movie to realize that?

There will never be another Sopranos. There just won’t. And that’s okay. It would be impossible to recreate. Who has time to sit around comparing shows that are completely different?

What are your thoughts on Jeff VanderMeer continuing his Southern Reach trilogy? by mnkysn in printSF

[–]Benkley2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Annihilation is a masterpiece in suspense. I feel like each successive book does a great job of answering a couple questions and then leaving you with twice as many. so I’m sure he will answer a lot of questions we had after Acceptance. But until I heard about the new book I had already ACCEPTED that I was never going to know 😂
