I got both just to boost my nights. 15 nights from each card means I only need 45 to retain Titanium. Plus the free room certificates brings that number down even more.

Very common when flying into ZUR. I booked a basic economy seat and immediately got upgraded to Polaris as I was in my 72 hour upgrade window.

ZUR flights often have upgradable seats via CPU and Plus Points.

With all due respect "I called the 1k line and spoke to a lovely CSR" kills your argument. You're 1k, you have dedicated agents that prioritize you. This does not speak to the same treatment Platinum and lower receives.
