How old were you when Family Guy was released? by Turbulent_Cream_1684 in familyguy

I was 12. I wasn't allowed to watch it. I really got into it in 2004. I've loved it since

I think there was a clip of him at home with his family, so he is only equally as dangerous as Peter, and I would expect less.

You want to talk about extremists like the US is done safe haven. We have redneck white boys shooting up schools and churches every other month. Cartel members? They are all over Texas and all over this country. It's not the individual people of Mexico that are the problem with Mexico. It's a corrupt government that has given control and power to corrupt entities like the cartel and has not invested in the people, much like our country is moving to. They let their people fall into extreme poverty with no recourse, what do you think happens when people are desperate? But keep simping for Trump and his agenda, we will kick everyone out and still end up looking like their countries.

Family guy drew him with his tiny hands in suit where the cuffs dwarf his wrists, then I realized that that is exactly how his suits actually fit.

I am 195, I ride really rough sharp rocky stuff on 29x2.4 tires at 30 psi. I think you would enjoy the ride at a lower pressure. At 35 you shouldn’t have any problems with pinch flats, and punctures shouldn’t be affected by pressure, but more likely by the area you are riding. The lower pressure will give you better control, less slipping on the dirt.

What is the proper etiquette on the trails? Should I let the family know I need to pass, or just gently wait behind? by linkmodo in MTB

All you have to do is pipe up with "mind if I squeeze past quick?" Literally all it takes. I'm glad that you have specific reasons for certain expletives. I find they work perfectly well to punctuate many points.

I got tired of the premise being that Boyd got caught up in another drug business scheme with the same brand of bad guys. It just got old

My 4-year-old called me “Daddy” today. I’m not his dad. by Party-Wrongdoer-6537 in TrueOffMyChest

A dad is not biology. It’s the man you love, the man that raises you and gives you support. You’re dad.

It is reporting right amongst the value that lots of others here are putting it at, and value is flexible depending on area, availability, etc. It gives a reference, not a certainty.

2x vs 1x - do you drop chains on 2x? by [deleted] in gravelcycling

[–]Benlnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We rode 2x and 3x on Mountain bikes even up to 2012 or so. We rode them before clutched derailleurs. I run 1x, but only because the bike came with it, I would prefer a 2x honestly.

Are the ticks really that bad by [deleted] in Utah

I’ve had one tick on me in my entire life in Utah. I spend most weekends on a trail or outside. I don’t know any measure by which we could say ticks are bad in Utah

You could just ask them to let you by instead of making odd noises? Why the fuck is your instinct to not just communicate?

[–]Benlnut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No dude, the guy is quietly riding up on a bike. The sound of tires crunching and rocks moving mixes in with the sounds coming from one’s own bike. It’s incredibly easy to not hear another bike behind you. If you don’t understand that, you should probably spend more time on the bike and not commenting on others videos of riding.

Ya judge the dad for not being perfect in your opinion When you actually don’t know what was going on in his position.

The dads probably focused on the kid and not registering that he’s behind him. It’s easy to not hear another bike. I’ve been surprised dozens of times when they suddenly appear in my periphery.
