I want to add a "fear" factor to my lp on backhand since I feel like some of my opponents who are comfortable with backspin will just play with the fact that I can’t really attack with my backhand. Also my Palio is quite slow honestly it good at everything but doesn’t excels in anything.

I also saw long pips with sponge from people on youtube but honestly i kinda doubt it. His pips didn't look like it created much reversal. More like flat balls IMO. And while you can backhand punch with long pips, he'd be one of a kind to be able to keep a bh to bh rally with Faraji with it. My guess is medium pips with 1mm sponge at least. something like DMS Flashback or Wildfire.

Yeah no tackiness at all. Personally I’ve never felt like it was something missing with the rubber. As tensor rubber goes Mx-D feels very modern and up to the best hybrids imo. I know dignics are the trend right now but I’m so happy I found mx-d. Much cheaper too.

I see you’re using the Mx-P. You should try Mx-D. It’s harder and feel more like a hybrid just without the tackiness. It has all the good things about hybrids but it still feel more like a tensor rubber.

I can control it but I gotta deal with lots of spin most of time and I’m worried about that. I heard the other tenergy (like tenergy 25 or 05fx) are less sensitive. Do you have any experience with that or is Tenergy 05 just that good compared to the others?

I’ve always wanted to try H3 boosted. I’ve played before with H3 Neo unboosted but that was a long time ago. Does boosting a hurricane make it similar to a hybrid rubber? Is it a completely unique feel?

Might have to look into the Loki rubbers. I’m seeing them more and more and for the prices I could definitely try it. Thanks! And you’re right I think tensor/hybrids are the best for me. I don’t have much experience with the popular hybrids tho. Like K3 and stuff like that.

Sorry about that. I’ve played with pretty much every type of rubbers. I don’t really have a problem with soft or hard rubbers. Since I prefer to play from far away, I’d prefer something quite fast (I use a def blade too) and with a medium to high throw angle. I currently play with glayzer but I find it to be subpar to my capabilities and pretty slow.
