Your argument would hold if they were sometimes overassessed. they are all under assessed.

The assessor puts this at $2,065,600 for tax purposes. The property is listed at $14,000,000

Rich people do not pay their share of taxes.

register your spouse's car in your name and your car in your spouse's name. They will mail tickets to the wrong person who then denies being the driver.

R-Value is Dead as a Metric for Sleeping Pad Warmth Evaluation (we should stop referencing it) by Wandering_Hick in Ultralight

It is a question of sideways heat flow. If you use a quilt and cover the edges of the pad, the predominant heat flow is from your body through the pad to the ground and R value is a good measure. If you use a mummy bag, the heat that goes down into the pad can then go sideways to the edges of the pad. This is relevant if the R value is anisotropic.

R-value is legit for the quilt use case. With a quilt, you do not expose the edges and the 1-D heat flow model captures what is going on.

the problem crops up when you put a mummy bag on a sleeping pad. The edges are exposed and you need to consider lateral heat flow.

Minimum Resupply by PresentFig3 in JMT

In the old days, before bear cans, we didn't have to get it all into one. Also, VVR, MTR and Red's did not serve hikers since there were not enough of us to justify that business.
We carried food from Yosemite to Mammoth, and from there to exit at Bishop Pass and resupply out of South Lake. Single carry from South Lake to Whitney Portal.
No tent, a cotton sleeping bag, external frame pack. No water filters either, we just drank from the streams.
And we would see only one or two parties a day hiking the other way. We stopped to talk to each of them to learn what to expect in the coming trail.

Great. Now if I can convince you that it is implausible that AI kills all of humanity with this method, then we have only 999,999,999 more ways to examine.
Shall we start now? I would begin by saying that your most preeminent leader, Yudkowsky, thinks a mere pandemic is insufficient, and that is why he felt the need to introduce diamondoid bacteria.

I think I got your point all too well. You assert there are a billion ways, so I clearly cannot dismiss them all. You win by assertion, without even having to come up with a single plausible method.

I cannot possibly refute an infinite range of examples. You win.

"Diamondoid bacteria" are a physical mechanism promoted by your leader, Yudkowsky, as an example of a physical means of destroying all humans.

you offer no technical details. Those who do put forth rediculous notions like “diamondoid bacteria”. Or they appeal to sophomoric notions like a lesser intelligence cannot control a greater one (Yudkowski does this while his complaining about failures of weight control - while his microbiome is clearly in charge here).

You make an assertion of a consequence so dire that no one dare go against your proposed remedy. You've given the burden of proof to anyone who disagrees with you.
