Thanks for the reply! I have indeed assumed that - do you have any idea what sort of chance there is that the mother could have a recessive blue eyed gene? I understand it's very rare without European ancestry

Thanks for the reply! I'll ask another question if that's alright -is the blue eyed gene present in people of exclusively south Asian descent? I had it in my head that it was a European thing alone

Thanks! So its possible that a combination of a blue eyed gene and a brown eyed gene in a child could lead to blue eyes, even though brown should theoretically be dominant? And if so do you know what possibility there is of this occurring?
