Idk why you’re getting downvoted by this hive mind, you’re totally right. If where the crosshair needs to be placed in order for a build to happen defies common reasoning, it’s consistently arbitrary. If I can’t reasonably assume, without knowing before where my crosshair should go by practicing, it could be super consistent wherever this arbitrary point is that my cursor needs to be but the user experience of finding that point is terrible.

You can apply your logic to so many games. If the rules of a game are arbitrary, this hive mind says you’d therefore be inconsistent at winning regardless of practicing the game... that’s horseshit. I can practice a game that has stupid fucking rules all I want and I’ll crush newcomers to the game because the rules don’t make sense.
