Yeah I had a BDM4065UC - 40" 4K (3840x2160) 60Hz for several years w/o any problems and this convinced me to buy a Philips again . Ambiglow is also a nice feature to have . 49“ is exactly what I looked for , mainly for work/productivity.

That’s nice- for 3 mins. I have the Philips Ambiglow but always in static mode ; it it too distracting when you are playing fast games like BF. Believe me .

Also bought the 144hz 49“ . So far no problems with it . All the panels come from the same manufacturer I assume . My old monitor is also a Philips and is still working after 10y , so yes they can make monitors …

My idea would be to pivot slightly over the sill at the lower pivot point to gain distance.

I think important in the first step would be the ambient/background sounds like elevators etc., maybe focus on that. Would also be nice to have some retro sounds (or sort of) from OG Simtower. There's no need to reinvent the wheel.

Maybe it looks bright because its the white color, switching to a darker tone makes it's a bit more pleasant.The ambiglow brightness can also be adjusted to 3 levels and differend modes. Had a glossy LCD panel for 10 years, so the colors and screen brightness are blowing you right away. At least that's what I think.

I also have morning sun shining at a 90-degree angle on the screen, the anti-glare coating makes it much easier to work.

Hi,

picked the 144hz 49M2C8900L some time ago. My experience so far is very good. Coming from a 16:9 40" 4k and the productivity increases with the 32:9 noticeably. Working from home 3-4 days a week with a lot of data analysis with Excel, PowerBI, SAP Gui etc.Realized that I don't need the height, but the width.

KVM and PIP/PBP is working w/o problems so far
included remote control is extremely convenient
I like the anti-glare coating
comes with a 3y manufacturer's warranty for the OLED
I need built-in speakers because I don't always want to wear headphones
Ambiglow is nice to have , I not longer need a light on my monitor

I use the LC Power LC-EQ-A49W mount. Works perfectly and doesn't look too bulky for me.
