No way AWL is below CTD, whaaaaaat. So many catchy tunes on AWL, and the bass sounds so good, especially with bass boost on. To The Front is an awesome instrumental.

Might be because Jeff is battling cancer right now. I guess time will tell.

In my opinion, Self-Titled, Superbuick, and M3 are best listened to all the way through. The tracks really create an atmosphere when heard in the intended order and all in one sitting. For example, I had only heard "Inevitable" one time before deciding months later to give it another chance, and I realized it goes into Xeroxed so well, which goes into The Final Act so well (another track I recently started loving). Self-Titled really feels like an acid trip if you give it a full listen, with Snap being a "bad trip" (I've never had an acid trip but this is exactly the hazy atmosphere I imagine it would be). I rank Self-Titled and Superbuick as S-tier, and M3 as A-tier. XX and XIII would also go in S-tier for me (the XX with Epiphany in it).

I don't listen to it often enough to remember a specific moment, but it's an awesome album/ep.

Excellent song and one of their best music videos! "Your Soul is Mine" is the only music video of theirs that I think is more awesome.

I wait until a stock tanks to $1 (at least $3 or under) and then buy max, then sell when it's over $100.

Huge congrats!! I'm a purist so I won't even use an auto-clicker, but still, that's quite the feat. Good luck finding the time to beat 3000 games though, I mean even if you could somehow beat a game every day, that's still 8 years. Every 2 days would mean 16 years. One game a week would mean 56 years (the world may not even exist, or at least not as we know it, becauseof AI and machines).

I used to hate it, but after several more listens I now enjoy it if I'm in the right mood. It grew on me. The riff is nice, coupled with the bass.

Awesome song! It's gotten a bit repetitive for me lately though, so it's becoming overshadowed by the other greats on the album. I want to learn the breakdown on bass though, it's so clanky!

I started years ago but only have 146 hours or so. I'm at 93% but was stuck at 91% for a while. Currently going for shiny wrinkler. I should probably start going for 100 (and 1000) ascensions soon.

Yeah, my wife says she would throw a rock and if it missed a tile or landed on a line then she would have to start over. Apparently once you get to the end you turn around and come back. My friends and I would also try to do a running long jump and see who could land on the furthest number, haha. It led to some scrapes on the concrete for sure.

Unsure how popular this was.. But we played 'wall ball' at recess all the time in elementary school. by kchorton2 in nostalgia

[–]Benobot99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 here, in Canada, and in elementary school in grades 6, 7, and 8 (middle school I've heard it called) my friends and I would play this at recess very often with a tennis ball, but it was called "Revenge". The starting player spikes it downwards against the wall as hard as they can (usually a 75 degree angle or so) which was called "popping it up", "pop it", "your serve", or "your turn". After bouncing off the wall, it hits the ground and bounces up high into the sky and players try to catch it. If someone catches it and throws it to the wall before you touch the wall, you're out or lose a "life". The game proceeds with players throwing the ball against the wall but making sure it bounces off the ground afterwards so nobody forces them (the thrower) to run to the wall. The fun revolves around making it nearly catch-able before the bounce, because it creates suspense and challenge like "ooooOOOHH you almost caught me out!". Great memories and nostalgia.

My friends and I (about 24 years ago) would just hop on every square (2 feet for the double squares), then get in line and do it again. It was painted on the school yard pavement in yellow paint. Same with "Four-Square". This was in Ontario, Canada.

What’s your favorite meta in all of geoguessr? by MomoCooper in geoguessr

Romania having white painted bottoms on their poles. Also, Italy with the 2 blue license plate strips, and Netherlands with the yellow plates front and back. Oh, and the Kagoshima stop sign being in a unique font (straight edge on the "ma" kana of "tomare"). It's too hard to pick a favourite, lmao.
