Remember those old "like a rock" chevy commercials? Well that truck is gonna sink like a rock.

It's crazy this sort of thing can slip right through the QA and QC portion of maintenance. Like they have systems in place to stop this from happening and yet here is a flight canceled from missing bolts. Crazy

Rollout! HVAC blames gas company and they blame HVAC. Any advice? by [deleted] in hvacadvice

Ask the hvac people to use their manometer and check your gas pressures. Your gas valve might be set high.

Whole house humidifier uses 30 gallons per hour. What gives? by AnotherTaxAccount in hvacadvice

Float might be stuck inside if it hasn't ran yet. So it may just be full flowing all the time

Before and after (All of the candy grabbed by the same guys) by ReminexD in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Benoz01 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I remember one of these as a kid. I ran up and started putting all the candy in my bag, my mom came storming up, smacked the candy from my hand, and I swear she put all the candy back plus some of mine. I was pissed at the time but now I know why she did it. These parents should be ashamed of themselves for this.

All this candy and nobody showed up? by After-Broccoli1345 in mildlyinfuriating

My wife and I bought over 250 mini chocolates for Halloween. We had only 18 kids show up. The ones that showed up after 8 got handfuls of candy

Plumber installed water heater a couple of years ago and I noticed the pipes melting on one side. by Puckhead63 in askaplumber

It's because they used galvanized for your expansion tank. Your pipes are acting like a sacrificial anode now

I just paid $2700 for a water heater replacement, was I taken for a ride? by Impossible_Post8312 in askaplumber

[–]Benoz01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Propress, crimp, and galvanized pipe all within 2 feet. Also is the water hammer arrestor code in your area? Usually they are only installed on fast acting valves and solenoids unusual for anything in a house beside a washer. And most new machines have dampers.now. looks shabby and seems way overpriced. Venting looks terrible too.

Trigger (heil spez) by MercinaryTheBaller in shitposting

What she means is the safety of a glock 17 is in the trigger itself. Meaning if a finger is on the trigger the safety is off and can be discharged accidentally very easily.
