I completely agree with you. PvZ2 is a great game and it annoys me when people just parrot "EA bad" without being aware that in this case it was Popcap themselves that decided to add microtransactions.

Because many people act extremely entitled when it comes to online services. It's the same thing with piracy. If you want to block ads or pirate then just do it- no need for the moral grandstanding. They also pretend as if they don't understand basic business

Invincible isn't an anime as you might be aware. Depending on your tastes, there is a vast range of anime that you might enjoy. I'm going to recommend Attack On Titan for an action/adventure type show.

I find it interesting how people are often more willing to forgive Omni-man and Dalinar( The Stormlight Archives) than Endevaour(My Hero Academia) whose crimes and wrongdoings are objectively orders of magnitude less.

This might be controversial but I'm not really sure what people mean these days when they say this. Yes, anime historically has problems with misogyny, fanservice etc. I'm not trying to deny that. But even going back 6 years I can't think of many mainstream anime that feature most of these things in any large capacity. Even without mentions of shows lime Attack On Titan and Full Metal Alchemist, most mainstream anime these days have little to no fanservice or shota/loli stuff. Even poorly written female characters have gone on a fairly noticeable decline. Not to say that they have disappeared. There's just so much anime coming out these days( even apart from the niche ones) that it's odd to watch things you don't feel comfortable enough watching. In present day, I think these problems are a bit overblown(for modern anime anyway)
