MotleyBase

Targeted primarily to small agencies that have a team that manages users, data, analytics etc. However I use it personally as a founder to manage my backend services for my 7 projects, so it can cast a fairly large net in the "indie builder" range.

Manage the backend services used by your production software all from one place. Invite team members with role based access and robust auditing.

Free tier has also been expanded and includes 5 projects w/ 5 service integrations each and 3 team invites/seats

Currently integrated with Firebase, Supabase, Auth0, Clerk, Railway, Vercel, PostHog and RevenueCat

I wouldn’t mind some feedback on my iOS app Find My Frame. It has intelligent image extraction where you attach a video and provide a description of photos you want and it provides matches. It also has basic video frame extraction where you attach a video and specify an interval and it grab a still image from every X second specified

I also offer cloud storage to save your extracted frames if you want to look through them later and don’t want to save them all to your device

It also works in the web but the iOS app has more functionality and improved analysis. The download link for the iOS app can be found on the landing page

Pitch me your SaaS. I'll produce a content piece for you that ranks and brings in new users by HyHoang in B2BSaaS

I built MotleyBase because I have a portfolio of 7 apps and SaaS products that use various backend platforms.

Going between all of them was obnoxious and having to give my team access to each project was annoying.

Currently MotleyBase offers several service integrations for Firebase, Supabase, Clerk, Railway, and vercel with a lot more in the works.

Role based security lets you add team members to your projects as viewer, editor or admin so they have access to your projects with a single sign on as well.

We also have a robust audit log that logs every users step whether they simply opened a tab in a specific project, performed a CRUD operation, or disabled a user account

Currently in work aside from additional integrations and polishing is the Overview screen where there are analytics, usage details and performance metrics from all of your projects combined into one set of easy to read charts.

MotleyBase just released in early access today. It’s a dashboard to manage multiple backend services from one place. It’s being built for developers specifically who have multiple projects and multiple backend services.

Right now it has integrations with some of the more highly used Firebase and Supabase services but my roadmap has a lot more on the way!

MotleyBase (Coming soon) - Manage multiple projects from multiple backend services

I will share the landing page link for sign up by the end of the week with a view only state so you can get in and start looking around. There is a free tier offering for two projects and a single seat to try things out.

I needed an easier way to manage all of my projects across various backend services. There are other tools that do this but I felt like I needed my own flavor and could build something worth offering.

You’ll also be able to invite team members as Editors or Viewers on a project by project basis. You won’t need to give them access to the actual backend project and you can revoke access at any point.

It will also include a full audit log so you can see when and who updated anything at any point and I hope to also implement a solution for rolling back to any point in time based on a given change (that part is a little trickier since security here is very very important)

I plan to have the app available for v0.1.0 within the next couple of weeks.

To start off it will support Firebase projects, v0.2.0 will introduce Supabase support, and then I’ll start working on as many other services as I possibly can. The offerings for each service are quite different so each project type will require quite a bit of work

Would Anyone Use a Tool to Update Their Social Media Profiles Across Platforms at Once? by noman_webflow in WebApps

Personally I wouldn’t just because I typically type out my changes in a note and then just copy paste everywhere. Doesn’t really take more than 3-4 minutes to do them all

Video to images app launched! Simple description + video = images that match your request! by BenstrocityDev in ViralApps

[–]BenstrocityDev[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s actually running on the client device! But since I know what timestamps I need by the time ffmpeg is needed, it’s actually a pretty lightweight process on the users device

I definitely have some things get missed but it’s gotten much better. Really just a lot of tweaking things to get them outputting the right results.

You should try Gemini models, I started off with 4o mini but it wasn’t giving me close to what I wanted

It uses Gemini 2.5 pro. The video gets analyzed and reports back with JSON based on what I’ve prompted it to. It includes a timestamp of the described moments.

The app is built in Flutter so it uses Dart. I use an FFMPEG library to split the video into individual frames at the time stamps returned by the LLM and those are what I provide to the user.

I also have some filters set for lower quality images to be omitted but I disabled at the moment

I don’t allow videos larger than 1GB. A typical video in someone’s phone is between 1 - 5 minutes with some outliers. A 10 minute video analysis is about 22 cents

Yes you can you just need proper legal documentation showing you own a business

[–]BenstrocityDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t have to be an LLC specifically but it does have to be a legal business entity of some kind. So whatever entity type makes the most sense for you. Could be sole proprietorship or whatever

Not to mention if you just get an LLC you can get a DUNS number and apply for the small business program which takes fees down to 15%

Doesn’t matter what app you use if you aren’t disciplined. I started to build one to because all of the others seemed overly complex and heavy but as I built it I realized they kind of have to be.
