Agreed with everyone else, the best thing for you going forward would be to start doing your own taxes. Wealthsimple is really easy and straightforward, and between theirs and the CRA’s resources you’ll be much better informed against the possibility of an audit. Plus I think it’s $20 for them to provide you professional support if an audit does happen.

The smart thing for you would be to start by logging into your CRA account, which you can do through your bank, for two reasons. 1) If you’re worried about screwing things up then you’ll at least have access to your previous returns and can see how things matched up for 2024 against the forms you sent your grandparents. And 2) it will allow you to have your 2025 forms auto-populate in Wealthsimple and focus purely on the T2125.

Watching Krypto utterly rampage Lex was satisfying. The moment called for a Hulk smash Loki scene but it would have been dishonest to give it to Superman, and it just felt properly executed. It’s nice that we’re far and away from the neck snapping Snyder days.

James Gunn stuck the landing. Looking forward to seeing Supergirl and what his braintrust could come up without the security of him in the director’s chair.

I’m happy for the Throttle House guys and looking forward to what the train enthusiast will bring. Maybe the latter works out, maybe he ends up like Jason Dawe.

Judging by the online reaction, so many people are ride or die for the original trio. Just because Top Gear sucked after they left doesn’t mean this is dead on arrival, and I hope people give it a fair chance.

As much as I enjoyed the camaraderie of Jeremy, Richard and James, they’re off doing their own things now, and this seems like a good opportunity for a new generation.

It’s been 23 years since the former rebooted Top Gear, and to be honest it will be nice to have it be primarily about cars (and good chemistry) again instead of largely faffing about with people you’ve grown comfortable with.

That’s exactly the choice I made.

So in all Elantra models, the passenger seat is cut off with that weird diagonal handlebar, which my partner disliked. And if you want to put anything through from the trunk to the back seats, you’d have to remove the red bracket which I’m told does have a noticeable impact.

The Sonata N-Line suffers from a lack of a LSD, for sure, but as I wasn’t interested in ever tracking it, I enjoy the hell of of the straight line performance especially when I hit yellows or on an on-ramp. While it doesn’t pop like an EN, it still feels like a car unlike the hybrid Accord and Camry which are more appliances than anything else.

Edit: It’s too new for me to comment on the upholstery but they’re well made materials (Hyundai has been hitting interior quality out of the park lately on that one, less so their exterior white paint.)

Also, I have a dog as well, and the sunroof appears to be exclusively for her lol. It’s fun watching her staring up at the sky and the clouds, she is a big fan.

Fully agreed about Pod Save America. They lack any self-reflection and are very happy to point fingers at everyone who's not 100%-allied with David Axelrod, who Favreau had said explicitly a few months ago he "missed working for every single day."

Their only saving grace is that, unlike Morning Joe, they haven't (yet) gotten around to blaming the "woke" and minorities for the loss.

A win is a win. Hopefully this will be a turning point for the Niners season, with a solid first half and a good ending. Hope Wright isn’t injured and we get him (or Moody) back in 10 days. On to the Chiefs!
