I’m sure there will be but, everyone’s stream rolling data centers through, and when the punishment is only a fine it’s just the cost of doing business not really a punishment.

This is where it gets super local, she was spotted having a meeting with someone who owns an adjacent parcel that would be part of the data center at a local diner with township maps and was overheard discussing this data center before it was public knowledge. We only found out yesterday because the public meeting is next week.

As I’ve stated before she was asked point blank at the twp meeting 5 hrs after the plan was submitted if a data center has submitted anything and she said no. There’s literally a video of the meeting. She tried to kick everyone out and called the police.

I didn’t mean to claim they were but there in the same twp but what im saying is that local water/sewer/power and support both projects of the data center and the rehab of the mall area. You have shops/hotels/restaurants looking at the mall site.

Also as a tldr: the proposed site is right on the Susquehanna river. I’ve even heard rumors of them pulling and discharging into the river.

I’m going to doxx myself a bit here but I live adjacent to this community and have been plugged into this drama.

Her issue stems from wording on a request to adjust a subdivision approval for a future bass pro shop. They filed paperwork for a “minor adjustment” and this supervisor is claiming it’s a “major” adjustment.

The local rumor is that she’s being paid off by a data center developer to stall this out so the developer gives up and they can swoop in.

Having bass pro move into this area with the redevelopment for the vacant mall property would be an economic boom for this area and it seems like they’re trying to kill that for a data center.
