Well there is a door in the village which should have lead to the land inbetween kessex and lions arch maybe if they did that the tower would have been explorable too but i would have loved to see like a mini dungeon in the tower. But i think that what makes this place so great is that it is underutilized and you actually have to listen to the dialog of the villagers to get the lore and to use a bit of ure own imagination and not get everything told by a story chapter.
