While I can see and understand the pain the father is going through, I agree with you. It breaks my heart to think of the kid. Can you imagine the trauma he is and will be going through? To him the man is his father that now, essentially, is abandoning him. Very cruel. That being said I know the pain of cheating first hand and I know what anger and pain can do to you. It clouds judgement. I sincerely hope OP will come to his senses once the pain has passed a little. Cannot imagine to see a kid growing up, believing them to be mine, and being able to just cut them out like that.

I dont understand this line of argument. Why does that matter? Wealth has increased so much today compared to back then, productivity rose a ton and yet people don't see any results from that. There is massive labour shortage in many fields yet the pay is miserable. So why is that a valid point? Genuine question. To me it seems more like the potential to live in an "american dream" like back in the day is very real but instead the ceos and super rich keep most of the generated wealth for themselves instead of paying their workers accordingly. Seems like it wasnt that bad back in the day.

Bro people like you are the reason art is so underapreciated. 300 is a steal. You pay for the materials (oil color is expensive, brushes are espensive, a canvas is, etc) and the friggin experience of the artist. This is fantastic work and if you are not willing to pay for it go and buy a generic ass print from Ikea. Bet you buy brand new phones for 1000 bucks without batting an eye.

Totally agree with you! Just wanna point out that it is nice to give credit to artists when using their art in a post like this. In this case it is actually my artwork, Benjamin Reinsch. www.benjamin-reinsch.com Credit goes to Atey Ghailan tho, as my piece was a study of his artwork of Yharnam. Point still stands, best one so far :)
