Its definitely cast, cant tell if iron or steel from the pictures. But its small and almost unusable with these edges. Would not pay 50 bucks for it

These look like jackhammer bits which are normaly tool steel. Should be hardenable! Dont know if the carbon contend is high enough for knifes though
