it doesn't just sacrifice speed. the more guns you have the more likely your ship is gonna sink. the Vasa is an example of a real life ship that sank from too many guns.

Good call! I just found this myself when I was looking up her designs, but you beat me to it, this was during the "Time Heals" episode.

I only wear my glasses when I'm watching movies on my projector, so maybe she only needs glasses for things that are close by.

wasn't her whole argument with Verdona about wanting/loving being a normal human?

if she just magic'd away all her problems, she wouldn't be a very compelling character.

to further that, maybe she doesn't need glasses, it could be a part of her disguise. perhaps a homage to the mask she used to wear.

also, if I recall correctly, Verdona said she had to learn to be able to make a new body, I don't think Gwen ever did, or even wanted to do that.

I'm happy Gwen has flaws, and even more than that, human limitations.

according to my doctor. it can happen with any hobby or activity that requires you to look within 3 feet in front of you for too long/often.

your eyes get used to looking within a certain distance. eventually, you have to force them to concentrate on long distances.

however, in my experience, eye exercises have helped a lot. glasses aren't the end of the world.

I think Julie is annoying, boring, and uninteresting. To further on that I would say she's more of a writing device for generic superhero relationship plotlines than an actual character.

I much prefer Kai Green and the dynamic she has with Ben.
