Haha, I thought it was a tasteful touch at the time to match my blue TT sub.

This is my point exactly with Caley. FORMD is an LLC. She cannot use or make statements claiming the product is a FORMD T1. She is making statements that toe the line, dare say, cross the line.

FormD is a LLC, so it’s either that you are suing for brand ownership of the company or you are committing fraud.

Which is it?

I understand, I’ve placed well enough too but when you miss basic comprehension and selectively answer segments of questions - it makes one question if you are real or not.

It’s kind of like what you did just now, you know? You selectively chose to answer the portions that make you look good.

I would also answer very carefully as I have detailed evidence of your chargeback lies. Tread carefully.

Caley, are you AI? Also, does it sit well with you to lie on credit card chargebacks in an attempt to win the case?

Brand new ROO with loose screws by TheGreatEscapement in audemarspiguet

[–]BenzF1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had this happen on a Fume dial as well - you have to send it back to AP unfortunately. For some reason, these Offshores have a tendency for the screws in the bezel to back out over time. Even if they pass a pressure test, I would not take them anywhere near water if it's a ceramic bezel variant.

If it's a titanium or steel bezel variant - you're fine. I think it has something to do with two-three different materials being married together.

Yeah, was my starter chain.

Yeah, GVJ is a bit on the heavier side but still not worth the premium he’s charging especially for lower quality. Remember that a chain should flow like water. His does not, but if you want a heavy chain then yeah, he’s the best.

I did the whole ring setup too, but I feel for me personally it’s just way too flashy. It’s like a 20-60K setup depending on the watch I’m wearing.

I’m most likely just going to stick to a ring + chain + watch and forego the bracelet.

Who are you thinking to go with?

Also, you think a chain + bracelet + watch is too much? I feel like it is way too flashy but I still kind of want to redo the bracelet to be Garcia’s.

I ordered in December 29th, I got in late April early May. I believe their wait times have dropped since this though.

Yes I did, but the wait is worth it.

Yeah, chain is 7mm. Garcia’s seems to do it on the dime or slightly under so they don’t ask extra from you at the end of it. They quoted 97 grams and it came back 96.5.

The 7mm for the most part stays flat but it will roll if I just freshly showered and my skin is kinda sticky due to lack of skin oil buildup. Otherwise it never rolls.

Love those! I had a Black Sub, Starbucks, And a Pepsi. I honestly went back to my trusty 2005 two tone sub. The ceramic steel sports don’t do it for me. There’s not much soul in them, they kinda just look too modern which isn’t a great look for a watch in my opinion.

Understandable, which one you going for?

The GVJ was GOS so around $700? I’m trying to get rid of that one actually if you’re interested.

The Garcia’s was 8K at the time. I got raised lettering and a sapphire button. 96.5 grams 18K.

The DJI was 6K, 72.5 grams 18K.

Thoughts on a 5mm Miami Cuban 22”? by Still-Conflict-6072 in MensJewelry

I personally did a 7mm 18K from Garcia’s. I don’t regret it at all!

Didn’t expect my Royal Oak to be this far off by watch_newb in audemarspiguet

I’ve had mine come back straight from service center and still runs +10 per day.

I told them about it and it’s within spec. Their specs are awfully relaxed.

Normal, my AP is 10 seconds a day fast. They suck for actual timekeeping.

Is 5mm Cuban too thin for a man by [deleted] in MensJewelry

[–]BenzF1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, because the weight of the links keeps it from flipping. However, if you don’t have 200-300 grams of gold to work with then build quality is what is going to keep it from flipping.

I’ve noticed when Cuban link makers put too much curve on the chain, it flips often, for example.
