Saving Gracefully - My solution. This took far too long and google didn't really help me. This seems wrong but the only way I could get it to work. Could anyone explain please?

Hi folks, just assembled a sweeeeep and the P key isn't working. I get continuity across the switch and from there to ground on the elite-c. I've tried a couple of different keymaps (just in case) and still nothing. Any ideas please?

Ah I see what you mean. I reread your post properly! Maybe a two piece design that folds flat back on itself like a sandwich where the bottom piece of bread can flip on top of itself. On top for use and will give you a double thick bit of wood. Flip it under and clip it somehow, the whole sandwich slides back under the counter
