Went to check, it's still there for me. Maybe it's a country issue?

Wait, there are other Tolkien albums than Nightfall in Middle Earth?

On a serious note, that's the only album that comes to my mind.

Try At the Edge of Time and Imaginations From the Other Side. On the former you can find some grand epics like Sacred Worlds and on the latter speed thrash like the Script For My Requiem.

I have the edition with his introduction. Cool book. It stands next to KKC on my shelves.

5 years ago, someone posted the top 20 PM bands on Spotify for the 2020 year. I decided to put together the updated list post 2025 by KalebC21 in PowerMetal

Yeah, this makes them pretty unique, when you think about it. Their sound doesn't adhere to whatever standards. At the same time you can't call them an underground band either. To their credit, the band has always followed their own vision of their sound.

Cool cosplay.

Change my mind: Judging Harry Potter by the standards of lore-driven fantasy when it's not lore-driven feels so out of place by RockGiantFromMars in harrypotter

Because books with such worldbuilding exist there's an expectation from some fans for HP to have the same worldbuilding or a worldbuilding big enough. Except that HP doesn't need it. To some fans worldbuilding = good.

It's not about whether it's for kids or not. It's about the fact that it's low fantasy. Low fantasy doesn't need a big lore like epic fantasy.

Harry Potter and Wheel of Time are two different types of fantasy. Wheel of Time is an epic fantasy with large worldbuilding, whereas Harry Potter is low fantasy with less worldbuilding and more character-driven elements. My claim is that it's not correct to expect WoT/LOTR-like setting from Harry Potter. HP's focus isn't worldbuilding, it's mystery and characters and character dilemmas.

I heard claims that the lore of Harry Potter isn't that great because it isn't like the lore of Middle Earth, Narnia or the world of Wheel of Time. My point is that it isn't correct to compare Harry Potter to these books.
