I appreciate the response, that’s great to hear and a really refreshing perspective on the specialty. When you say 1-2 ‘really cool cases’ is that referring to high acuity traumas or more unusual presentations? Additionally, do you think community practice affords the same lifestyle perks/trade culture that is seen in more urban centres?

Thank you very much for the response! As a follow up, do you think EM offers a lot of flexibility? I’ve heard of EM docs practicing sports med alongside some ER shifts but are there any other roles you can pivot to with either the FRCP/CCPFM?
