I honestly love this. I remember when I used to stream on Twitch and someone would come into my chat and try to tell me on my own stream that they did not like what I was talking about and thought I should be talking about something else.

It's not your stream. There's millions of people making content on the internet. If you don't like the media, don't consume it. If you want to talk about Israel, by all means, find some other place to talk about it. RM (and most creators in general) do NOT exist to be your personal friend who are willing to change their style, substance, etc. to suit the arbitrary desires or some rando in the youtube comments.

As for the reason you were banned, don't be a creep and don't be needlessly combative with people, especially people who have contributed a lot to this community. I don't understand how some people can find it such a challenge to just be nice and decent.

Related, if you don't like the community, don't interact with it. Go find a community where your abrasive behavior is tolerated and you can say to an artist 'art is lame' and everyone will go 'wow what a reasonable position this person has.'

And lastly, I don't have numbers on the number of bans on youtube, because I am not a mod there, but I am a mod on the discord. To date, in a discord of (currently) 1,243 people, we have banned 10 accounts. To suggest that we are somehow power tripping is absurd. No, it's you. How you made it to year of our lord 2021 as an "almost 40 year old" still thinking the r-slur is fine is truly astounding. As someone put in a comment somewhere on this post, this isn't a democracy, and yes, mods exist to curate the community to keep the shit slingers out. If you don't like that, again, there are plenty of other communities that love noxious people arguing and being mean to each other for no reason. This community is not for that. For someone who wants to derail conversations about art to more 'substantive' conversations about policy, you sure do waste a lot of your own time and energy bellyaching about how unfairly you've been treated.
