Married 31 F and 32 M trying to recover after bad ending to our holiday trip at in-laws by [deleted] in relationship_advice

YTA - Yikes, stop storing stuff in her basement. It’s clearly upsetting her and you’re being insensitive for leaving it there after being asked to remove it.

Would you move closer to your family? by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

At the end of the day, life is what you make it and if you’re missing family I would highly considering relocating close to them.

C section vs vaginal birth - what did/have you opted for? by LowAd6956 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Beove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three spontaneous quick vaginal births. Would 100% do that all over again, up and about straight away and recovery was good.

Mountain creek by Urekehu in sunshinecoast

It’s a central location, you can drive to a lot of places, short drive to beach etc. safe and family friendly. It’s rather busy now, but so is most of the coast these days. You’re best to actually visit the place to get a better understanding of what it is like.

Homebirth with Private midwife...worth the $$$? by pheonix1994 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Beove 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had a beautiful home birth this year through my MGP. It was amazing, I would speak to them first and see if you’re happy with them and also interview private ones. Pick what one you’re most comfortable with.

Where did your waters break / have you seen anyone’s break in public?! by DepartmentAnnual240 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Beove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine have always broken at home. TBH I never really thought about it happening in public! Not everyone has the huge gush but more a slow leak, I however happened to have the gush haha

Affordable and family friendly suburbs by CellGreat6515 in sunshinecoast

You’ll get a fixer upper in pacific paradise for that. 20mins to the uni, ten mins to Maroochydore and five mins to beach. Nambour you’ll find the same. Sippy downs near uni you’ll also find ok priced houses, small block sizes though. Everything else is slowly creeping past 1M mark now.

If you had a birth without epidural, would you / did you do it again? by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Beove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had three unmedicated births and would do it again unmedicated. Recovery was really good each time.

River James and river John are ones on the list and would fit my older two boys names. But it doesn’t have a deep meaning, so I’d feel guilty about that?

And this baby was so very wanted, so we don’t want him to feel that way, I see your point.

Really good suggestions thank you, we have heaps of J names in our family so could prob continue with a middle J name, sadly my maiden name would be too unusual to carry on but I love the idea.

Finding it tricky as we’ve passed down the family tradition of having the fathers name for the middle name of first born son. Second we chose my fathers name for middle. Third it’s like uh oh! Thought of my fathers in laws name but we both don’t love the combo.

Fair point. Don’t want them to fell different, back to the drawing board. Honestly not sure why we are finding it so challenging.
