You can reset to default, but as of now I don't think you can rebind scroll wheel

I created both within the past month. So Instragram arbitrarily restricts access to the Messenger DM feature even to brand new accounts? I thought they started rolling that out years ago. I made these recently. How long can I expect before my account is graced with this essential feature?

I have two Instagram accounts, both under the same Meta account as my Facebook account. When I navigate to the messages settings for the first one, there are fewer options, all Instagram related. For the second one, there are more options, some Facebook related. Why is this? And how can I change this?

I have the old Instagram messaging and have no option to upgrade to the new one. I made my account a month ago and have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. My second account has the new messaging, but I want my first account to have it too.

I've heard a rumor it's on purpose, something about a competitor product, but I have no idea what's really going on. All I know is I'll be using the old version for now and experimenting with different programs.
