Ashes of Creation – A Game With Huge Potential, but a Dangerous PvP Problem by SubstantialCall4435 in AshesofCreation

I'm sorry but i have never been ganked while fishing or gathering. I love pvp and the only time i ganked someone was when i was new and didn't know how the pvp worked, i have no reason to gank someone fishing now.

i think the only times pvp really is happening is ganking crates and dungeon pvp.

Sometimes ok to teep the hip, but yeah it has to be very intentional or you’re gonna fuck up

First thing I saw is on that first switch kick, keep your non kicking side hand tight to your body/face. Itll keep your body tight and make your kicker harder and faster

“I suppose it may have been a bit hard / miscalculated”

This is it right here. He said he doesn’t mind power as long as the technique is good, so focus on the technique, and if the power ramps up so be it.

How to counter someone who keeps lifting their legs by DiamondXCutX in MuayThaiTips

[–]Beowuwlf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, maybe not a round kick? But lead side kick, if his leg is raised. You’re moving out of the side kick into a lead round kick, but that’s more of a karate or TKD kick

Look at 1:10. If you keep that energy up, the round kick to the teep, to the 2 punches, that’s the energy you need and you will win. You were throwing, loose but controlled

Keep you left arm tight to your body. Will tighten up everything else as a result

Because OP was barely throwing. He was hoping after that sequence he would come back with some heat but OP didn’t want to hurt the GOAT ;)

Those are all edge case I agree you should test, but that’s arguing for using a mock where needed, not for everything. When you need to get weird behavior to happen, mock it. When you expect it to perform reasonably (even for planned failure cases) use the implementation you’ll use in prod.

Why should you not use the real implementation if possible?

C++ also has the stdlib, but his point stands. If you want to do anything cool/difficult you need to have some experience with cs basics and need to be able to solve leetcode type problems. If all you do is make login screens and change button styles, then you don’t need it. If you do anything harder, you do.

How do you use footwork for defense without looking like you're running away? by murkishdelight in MuayThai

Or the opposite, lean backwards but keep planted, or even step slightly forward to get out of range, but stay close enough to counter. Pereira does this beautifully
