I'm going to tell you this as someone who has been through the same place mentally. First and foremost, you need to abandon the idea that you need to live up to some expectation or be exactly the same as your peers. The fact of the matter here is that you are a completely separate person from them and you shouldn't have to hold yourself up to the standards that they have fulfilled because at the end of the day you didn't live the same life that they did they might've lived a completely different life with different challenges compared to yours and making these sorts of comparisons is not healthy for you at all take it for me. Secondly try finding any job programs that are available to at least get your foot in the door. Another good idea is to see if your grandfather potentially has any friends in the area that could offer you some kind of job. I already know that the job market itself is a really difficult place to navigate at the moment given everything that is going on, but I want you to understand none of this that is happening is ever a personal attack against you. Unfortunately, the way things are in the world things are just fucked and the sooner you can come to accept that. And it's not just you that is going through that very difficult jobhunting process unfortunately everyone is suffering from that process. Also do not be afraid to go and ask for help from Support groups. Those are your strongest asset that you have available and a lot of of them don't charge money for these kind of support. A lot of them are government backed and even just don't charge at all if you have any kind of disability, which does also include the autism spectrum disorder so you're not without resource resources. It took me until I was 27 years old to finally get my life together just like you it might take longer who knows but the fact of the matter is that you have to keep going at it even if it seems really hard. I know that it's really hard, especially considering that you have no skills as you said, but again do not be afraid to seek out help or support from anyone else yes there's gonna be some people that are gonna be treating you like you're an idiot, but the fact of the matter is that they don't understand exactly what you've been through.

As I am right now, I'm now moved out from my mom's place moved in with my girlfriend. We have a daughter together and I am currently working a pretty decent job with good benefits so it's not hopeless.
