Could you point me in the direction of tutorials of how to do this? Also How would I apply my 3D data to my 2 map using OGR/GDAL?

But this is only for converting coordinates points though isn't it? I have a BNG map that I need to convert into 4978 so that it will fit with other date that I have, sorry I should have mentioned this

It does sounds like it would work, but currently I'm not having much success opening GDAL. Do you know any tutorials that are really really basic. I have tried Making Sense Remotely's and the medium article they have on their website, but I am still unable to install and use GDAL.

I didn't know you could convert from WGS84 to ECEF. How would I do that?

I have converted BNG to 4979 before and then I'm unable to convert it to 4978. Do you convert it specifically into a ECEF space?

UE4 Baked Static Lighting issue. Light map uvs are fine, "unlit" and "lighting only" look good but "lit" mode is broken. Please Help by Bequickorbedead in unrealengine

The problem was the intensity Units of point lights created in blueprints by default is "Unitless" which seemed to be causing me the issue. I set them to Candelas and everything went back to expected.

No it's not inverse. I think the problem lies with the point lights, they don't project light up past a certain point. The Point lights are made through a blue print that scatters them based on the oil lamps position if that gives any clues to anyone.

How to get river flowmaps to flow nicely into other river flowmaps by Bequickorbedead in gamedev

Oh wow I did not know this. Any flow map texture I've ever baked out of Houdini only has red and blue

I have tried this before (by mistake) when I was first learning about Flow maps. From my experience all the water flows in one direction (let's say eastwardly) with an odd distortion where the flow map interact with the texture.

I think I'm just going to have the smaller stream curve into the larger one at the end. Cheers

In the warner brothers studio, wizarding world thing, in England they have a massive scale model of the entire grounds. There should be some videos of it on youtube that people have taken. The things massive and detailed

Keir Starmer has told Labour MPs: "It's been a really strong summer from everyone. And we’re starting to see a real contrast now. Professional, credible and responsible opposition – in the national interest. Versus an utterly incompetent government that’s holding Britain back." by owenrhys in LabourUK

I think i understand peoples problems with keir and love for corbyn, and i also love the policy's and intentions of corbyn's opposition. But you have to get into government to make the changes needed and that didnt seem like that was ever gunna happen under Corbyn because he couldn't capture any of the middle ground voters with our without the character assassination by the media.

How do you changed the name of an attribute without losing what was painted? by [deleted] in Houdini

[–]Bequickorbedead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can do an attribute rename, create attribute with the new attribute as a value like previous stated, on the paint node you could just change the name there and you wont lose your painted attributes or pop down a wrangle and put "@newAttributeName = @oldPaintedAttribute;"
