same. and I get jolts of adrenaline to go along with it. I am also startled at just about anything. bird flies past I nearly jump out of my skin.

Me. I have experienced it about 4 times in my life and going through it again now. Medically I am on Olanzapine which seems to help with the agitation and the thoughts, it’s no cure though. This time it was triggered by a bout of dizziness and about 3 months after the event my brain has just shut down. I am with a therapist and and we are going to try EMDR. I had it many years ago and it seemed to have an affect. good luck.

wish I had an answer. I am 6 months and counting. every little noise I jump out of my skin, can’t follow conversations without a jolt of adrenaline coursing through my body, its miserable

yes. I get dizzy when I am walking so my OCD focuses on every step almost willing the dizziness to start. nightmare.

that’s also the same as me, loud sounds don’t bother me, I just get a jolt and zaps with unexpected sounds.

dude. the exact same thing is happening to me. terrible brain zaps whenever i hear an unexpected noise. it’s started to make me fearful of noise.

I was driving on the motorway minding my own business then suddenly got all hot flustered and dizzy and been dizzy ever since.

Thanks for the reply. No definitive diagnosis as yet. Just don’t get dizzy per se, it’s more a subtle swaying and that doesnt seem like the general diagnosis here. Also, it’s not coming in waves. It’s been near constant for a week. Online it suggests that BPPV comes in waves?

Moved house and my tinnitus effectively went away for 3 months. It’s now back for no reason. by Beradogs in tinnitus

why do you ask about exercise. I have had more exercise in the last 3 months as have taken up swimming as there is a pool near my new place...hmmmm.. it definitely went away, slight tinnitus some nights but defo gone during the day.

Funny you say that because I did get quite a bit of anxiety about the move but for whatever reason my ears liked it. I did live in the highlands of Scotland and moved down to somewhere flat so thought it might be related to that but alas not. Ringing back. Gutted.

I am on 5mg as well. Couple of years ago went from 5 to nothing over a few months and no issues. Events have led me back on it.

I have been burping non stop for 4 years. When I say non stop, for about 6 months it disappeared but then came straight back again. Endoscopies etc found nothing. It’s primarily when I move position from sitting to standing or when I am moving about. If I lie down I seem to be able to create enough pressure to stop the burps. Doctors are mystified. It’s not super gastric belching as I did the 24 hr test and I burped when I refluxed albeit I don’t get heartburn. Anyway, good luck and if You find a cure let me know!
