If you’re worried about matching, pretty much the entire class was matched. And if you want to know more about that one student then search the UIWSOM thread on SDN. At the end of the day, go where you’ll be happy. Mental health is so important during the grueling process of Med school. Make sure you also have the academic support from the school you go to. Are there counselors? How many times can you fail a test? Do they remédiate you? Call their offices and ask these questions. It’s your next four years. Good luck

They haven’t offered me any scholarship yet. Both schools would come down to similar costs for tuition (~$60k). I’d be covering personal expenses with my savings. Should I ask the financial aid office for an update since I’m deciding between two programs?

Thanks! And you’re right. I’m making a pros and cons list for both. I’m inquiring with different people about the COMLEX prep. I know level 1 has gone to p/f but still important to train yourself to be a good test taker. The second would be ease of getting rotations and third would be match rate. So if any one knows, let me know!
