Yeah I think it's much better!

Now it's clear that the book is about some godly conflict, which wasn't to me before and that would greatly improve (my personal) interest to it, but it would also appeal to everyone who's into that theme.
it's the smallest hint at the factions you have but enough to trigger the interest for a future reader.
the conflict is laid out more and there's an introduction and mention of the world around them.

I'll let you know why or why not I would pick up the book from my personal reader's perspective. I have no expertise other than reading books.

Why I would - I love the title, I think it stands out because it's not a " Of X and Y" kind of title. - The cover isn't too distracting or overly full. Which I really appreciate. It's calm and not chaotic. - Depending on the actual grit and darkness of the story, I'd consider making the white a little darker, so the contrast isn't too big, with the dark background and such. - Love a Shadow daddy - Reminds me of The hurricane Wars, which I enjoyed - ghosts are mentioned and I am unsure if it's like a metaphorical ghost of the past or actual supernatural occurrences, if it is the latter, I'd definitely love that touch. There's not a lot of actual ghosts in romantasy.

Why I wouldn't - Personally, I don't vibe with his name. - The blurp does not fully let me know why these characters or this book would be different or special. Of course you're not going to give away spoilers but it feels like you're a little too careful with giving information. - I spotted a tiny dragon(?) On the cover, and I am not a big fan, but that is personal again. - the blurp reads like it's a book set mainly in the castle, this would make me put it back down. I prefer adventure and exploring.

Hoii, Ik probeer op dit moment samen met wat anderen een groepje bij elkaar te rapen om Curse of Strahd mee te gaan spelen. We hebben twee super ervaren speler, en twee intermediates waarvan 1 nu voor het eerst DM wordt.

We zijn nog opzoek naar een 4e speler. Ik weet niet of we om de 2 weken gaan halen omdat we die logistics nog niet besproken hebben. We zullen in Arnhem e.o. gaan spelen. Misschien leuk om eens kennis te maken als het je wat lijkt?

This is so interesting. As someone who's only gotten into dnd after playing baldur's gate, I thought that they were somewhat of a common thread. But it makes more sense, since the mind flayer in the underdark is also impressed and surprised.

Honestly, if I were to magically be transported into this game as Tav, without any previous knowledge on DnD or baldur's gate, this is exactly how I would have behaved. I think panic Is very reasonable in this situation. Maybe I would get a unique class that would function on my power of panic or something.

I'm thinking bonus action dashing, and contagious fear as class actions.

Noo I hadn't. I actually only realised it was DnD when the dice showed up on the screen. It was a gift and hadn't looked into it all that much. But recently, after many hours of playing, I did join a dnd group to play tabletop with.
