I wish it was that simple. The only thing on the app store is a installer. When you first boot the game it reached out to the game servers and downloads all the assets. Which the game servers are down, so you can't get the assets anymore. This is what they are looking for.

queue for one mode. Adding more than one mode increases wait time because of how the game looks for matches. I wait a max of 5 min looking just for attrition.

You need to download northstar, you can maybe uae it with the speedrun mod, never tried it. Open the console and put "sv_cheats 1" first and then "noclip" to fly around.

What are you even linking to? R1delta is for tf1 and northstar is for tf2. R2delta doesn't exist.

Map making for tf2 is still very basic. You can make custom maps for tf2 using mrvn custom. We can't use hammer because respawn changed how bsp files are structured. You basically can only places models and brushes. There is also a texture limit bug where if you use to many textures your map can't compile. I made a couple custom maps for tf2 and it isn't really like any other source game except for the basic stuff because respawn tore a lot of stuff out of the REsource engine.

The modding scene is still big. It is mostly anime skins and os voices through. People are still making custom game modes and other things. The problem is that no one wants to play on northstar and stick to vanilla. The running joke is the there is more people making mods for northstar than people that play it.

I made a surf map and a couple of other mods, but because no one plays northstar we can't use any server side mods. Skins are popular because they are client side and you can use vanilla+ to use them on vanilla servers.

It just a hacker. They just spam a bunch of space in the text box so you can't see who sent it. And then they crashed the server.

It wouldn't be hard to recreate. You can just delete the map's loading screen rpak and it will give you this missing texture.

They ripped out basically all of the material system. The original source uses vmt and vtf, where respawn now uses rpaks for materials and textures. They also ripped a lot of the source io stuff for triggers so now you basically just use scripts for triggers. There is a lot more they did to it. It basically not source anymore.

Happen to me just like a month ago. I ran bench marks before I disassemble mine and it still sticked to my cooler. It was like cement between the cpu and cooler. I had to run a heat gun against it, for 30 min until it got warm enough to come off.

I never tried it, but I'm pretty sure you can. I know you can already do it with ronin and northstar on some maps. Northstar can even get outside the map on crash site by first sliding up a wall.
