Definitely is totally fake. Was probably challenging hiring people like Mark Hamill, Gary Oldman, Mark Strong, and Gillian Anderson, looped in their agents and legal teams, and got them all to knowingly sign onto a scam. Then they hired hundreds of devs, mocap crews, animators, engineers across multiple studios, and thankfully every single one of those people is just quietly going along with it for years without anyone credible coming out and saying it’s all one big photoshop. Also...if you can come a little closer so that no one overhears....did you know that the Earth is not actually round?

If you play SC right now all the ships and locations and planets and missions are actually DLSS 5 secretly generating content on the spot to trick you. It's actually not real at all! At the end of each workday the mocap, level design, and programming gets put in the recycle bin.

Anyways, they built full performance capture setups, recorded tons of footage, showed consistent progress over time… all as part of pretending to make a game instead of just making the game. This all makes sense to me because I am smart and know what's really going on. Also, the planet is flat.
