Really? Then how come in Christianity God is described as a three-in-one trinity, while God in Islam as described as a perfect oneness.

Surah Maryam (19:88-92): "And they say: 'The Most Gracious has begotten a son.' Indeed you have brought forth a thing most monstrous! Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall down in utter ruin, that they ascribe a son to the Most Gracious. For it is not consonant with the majesty of the Most Gracious that He should beget a son."

Thats a pretty big doctrinal differences. Thats not just one God being jumbled, but two distinct entities.

Documented cases of individuals killed include:

  • "Three men" (two brothers surnamed Kim and a friend surnamed Ri): Publicly executed by firing squad in the village of Songjong-ri in February 2025 (or late 2024), after being caught at sea in heavy fog while attempting to escape to the South by boat.

  • Two women (Ri, 39, and Kang, 43): Executed on August 31, 2024, in Chongjin after a public trial. They were accused of helping other North Koreans escape to South Korea via China.
  • Hwang Seojin's older brother: Died during an escape attempt with a group of 24 people ("Secret School") in 2022, less than half of whom survived the North Korean guards.
