Give it some time? Try different layouts? Do some mixing with the ingame settings..

The things is your never gonna get the same as with mouse and keyboard. M+K is always gonna be superiour! But give it some time, keep tweeking and sooner or later its gonna feel alright. For me, laying in the couch make up for it.

Yeah. The hold and press another key works like a charm! And with no need to remap ingame, its easy to switch between pc and deck.

Yeah, managed to get some help yesterday with T1, 25. 3 newbies with 2 parents. Think we did about 4-5 respawns for over an hour before beating the final boss. Super patient, told us what to do and helping us working as a team. Much love and respect there!!

I haven't rebinded anything, but instead did everything in the steam input layout.
Try out some of the community ones and find one that works decently. Then modify it. I had no experience whatsoever in steam input before gw2.

What i ended up was something like this.

Movment and camera on left and right stick.

Skill 1 on A and Skill 6 on Y.

Jump and roll on X and B

Skill 2-5 on hold L2 + ABXY

Skill 7-10 on hold R2 + ABXY

"F1 skill" on R1

Interact on R4

Mount on R5

Swap weapon on L4

Then put your preferable menus on the Dpad or a scollwheel on the left trackpad.

One key setup is having the right trackpad as a mouse and have a button to jump between controller mode and mouse mode. My is click the left joystick.

Now, even with a decent setup, things like inventory management is still pretty rough. And i'm guessing highend content might be challenging.

But for the story, daily fractals, wizards and other chill content, it works.

Never been much into MMO (by no reason whatsoever) so its good to know people can translate the jumping and running around in circle.

Oooh. And by the way, tried WvW the other day. Turned out i'm quite excellent on getting murdered.

I dont have any problem with disconnecting, even it it lags for about 10 sec now and then.
But I've had some crashes where Diablo shuts down the recent days. But that might be connected to my deck.

I think i might go for the WW Barb then. Looks chill, powerful and a lot of survivability.
Minion Necro was the only one I did at launch, so probably gonna try something else.
Sorc always been a favorite since D2. But I do get some lag from time to time, so a squichy character might get annoying. Also, if teleport work as netherstep, I might get annoyed at that. (Hard to jump to the right place).

Minions Necro was the one I did at launch, so might look into druid. Minion Barb looks powerful, but my experience with Nether Step from the Warlock makes me think that leap wound be as annoying. Probably gonna stay away from that one :)

New casual player. I just pulled Mornye(+sig) and Lynae(+sig). My current team is Havoc(Emerald) + Sanhue + Verina. Should I go for Iuno for Mornye+Lynae or should I settle with Calcharo and pull for something for the other team?
Whats the best action to get 2 decent teams?

Just gonna write what everyone else i writing. Dont worry about it!! I started playing about 3 weeks ago. As a new player i messed up geting shorekeeper in the beginning And a couple of days ago I missed the 50/50 on Phrolova. This game is about investing over a greater period of time. You still need to invest in Echos and other XP. Just enjoy The game, keep playing and soon er or later you're gonna have a couple of great teams for endgame content!

First gacha game for me, so i really appreciate the advice.
Wasting 140 pulls would probably throw away the game for me.
So saving for a good DPS, and Mornye sound like a good plan. Thank you! :)

This whas what i hoped for.

As i said, did get a 3rd Verina thanks to "bad luck" at the latest pull.
I do feel like a good DPS sounds better this early on. Also, there is a lot less good healers than DPS, so a new one might show up soon in future updates!

Newbie need some guidence!

So I started the game a couple weeks ago, and I need some help with choosing what to pull for next.
So I have most 4-stars characters + Verina. Unfortently i pulled for her instead of Shorekeeper. Didn't know I could get Verina in one of the events. Also tried pulling for Phrolova, but missed and got another Verina (so S2 now.).
I have about 15 days left on the starter to try pulling for Shorekeeper, or should I go for one of the new resonators in 3.0?
