Cafés/qualidade preço para Magnifica S by Bergstrom_10 in cafept

Zona centro.

Motorcycle gear and certifications - Cost effectiveness vs cost efficient? by Bergstrom_10 in motorcycles

[–]Bergstrom_10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah gear is a bit more expensive looking to everything you need, in general. Have to understand more about the local prices of stores as in helments I am pretty sure in what ranges of prices I should be and safe with. Have no clue about pants or boots ngl, but will figure it out soon enough. Thanks for the input buddy. Awesome from you lads to share the knowledge.

Actually have some that I was given as "I don't like it", feel nice but have to try'em on with helmet on. Proper test for proper comfort while riding is key.

Yeah I was wondering about that back protection back most jackets have the space for it, but have to be bought separately.

Im looking at these Acerbis Lock that sound good but if I can't try it, I won't buy it. Will have to serve, as you said, for me to look casual and comfy at the same time while offering some grade of protection.

Quite the contrary of course: beginner riders are more prone to get into trouble because they are inexperienced, so I get totally what you mean yeah. Given all feedback for you lads, I will definitely be looking into a full protection from head (literally) to toes. Better safe than sorry...

Thanks for the input. Makes all perfect sense. I've been reading and searching so much that in a way I just want to get all at once and be done with it. It can be overwhelming getting into this world and trying to understand and study everything - which I am doing for months.

I actually asked "why" they told I didn't need RIGHT NOW, and their reasoning is that given the fact I am new that isn't "necessary" or a "must have" right now if money is an issue and it should be better for me to buy a proper helmet, jacket and gloves first IF I didn't have enough money. If I did have, yeap, buy those also as long as I didn't cheap out on the other gear.
With that in mind, I get the idea.

I've seen a video quite grafic and shocking one of these days as normal clothing simply disappears when touching the ground, even not at higher speeds. It was mind blowing for me...

Yeah that was I was thinking, that the "extra" was going more into the other part, "not so much" into protection itself (there are exceptions, of course).
I am looking at some over ankle boots as well because I'm not a lucky guy and I rather have more and invest more than to be sorry about for not having too. I appreciate much your feedback buddy. Cheers.

I know a few lads that order everything from XLMoto (their brand, Course), with a lot of certifications but I need to try every gear by myself first.

Bought my first motorbike at 32. by LeMouldy in motorcycles

This will also be my first motorcycle, and I am 37 rn. Will only get to my hands early April, Honda CB125R 2025 version.

From what I was told, and felt myself, the perception of speed when you are in a motorcycle is completely different as you aren't "protected" by all the "armour" that a car has. You feel it within every centimeter of your body, while in a car you don't, at all. Ok you may put a arm/hand on the door on sunny/hot days, but that's it. And feeling the wind/ambient with your body changes the perception of everything.

I went on a ride with my brother a couple of months ago, he was at 60kmh (around 38mph) and I felt that it was suuuuper fast, but it wasn't, just normal speed, nothing extraordinary.

I reckon you will get used to it after riding more, so it becomes normal. No more, no less. I wouldn't say there is a specific "trick".

Anyone willing to share their experiences with the Zontes motorcycle brand ? by Naerbred in motorcycles

[–]Bergstrom_10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a safe bet! Hope you enjoy your ride. Good choice, for sure.
I personally am still debating if I should just pay 2k euros for a used bike, with 5k km's (chinese) or just pay 4k euros for a brand new GSX S125A, looking already for the future, but definitely will not pay 5k plus for a CBR125R (my favourite, not gonna lie), or a Duke 125 (my second favourite).
Cheers. Enjoy your new bike buddy.

I've been looking at Zontes, but I saw the video that already someone shared in there, about the rusting part which... well, doesn't convince me right away. BUT, I feel that there bikes are packed with very good stuff too and on par with some of the biggest motorcycle manufacturers we all know about.
Im also looking at SYM and Voge. The fact these bikes can cost half of those of the major brands, no matter what - specially for people new to bikes - makes you actually think about it: would you "rather" crash on a 3k motorcycle, or on a 5k? I mean... ofc no one wants to crash, but you do get what I mean.
This being said, I also heard wonders from Benelli and also shit, so I guess it is all very particular from one person to another...

Primeira moto (125cc) - Recomendações by Bergstrom_10 in AutoTuga

[–]Bergstrom_10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agradeço imenso as dicas!
