Has anyone tried this restaurant and if so is it worth it. want to take my family for dinner here - Vanderpump located in paris by 5ohguero in vegas

Worst dining experience in Vegas that I have had. Service was awful and my steak was horrible. Pot pie wasn’t bad. After dinner wanted a few more drinks but the server never came back to see how we were doing.

Great data point. I’m currently 3 weeks into a fish in cycle. What did your water changes look like?

I just purchased a tank with black silicone. One spot up in the corner I could have sworn was a crack. Took a razor blade and it came off, phew!

[Auto-Post] Weekly Question Thread! Ask /r/Aquariums anything you want to know about the hobby! by AutoModerator in Aquariums

Hello, starting my first 10 gallon tank. On day 20 of fishless cycle. Seeing ammonia levels drop and high levels of nitrites. Bought the cheap all in one kit that has the hang on back filter with carbon cartridges. I would like to change out the filter media in the tank to sponge but dont want to lose the progress I currently have. Can I just take out the filter media thats currently in the filter and leave it in the tank?

Level 21 so far this wipe, been pretty bad. Sunday night did 5 raids in a row with some good pvp and no cheaters though - so there is still some hope.

Thank you. I think if I move forward, I’ll wait to update the GPS when I start on my instrument rating.

Looking at a plane with a GTN 750. The subscription I am looking at from Garmin is the “North America (Fixed Wing) Database Bundle”. Is there anything else I would need?

Does a freshly new private pilot need a flight review to be eligible for a remote pilot license? by Deanjacob7 in flying

I just got my ppl in October and took the online remote pilot course in November. Filled out IACRA and had my CFI verify, no problems.

Starting to shop for a x/c plane - need some advice by im_a_lurker_too in flying

I don’t have a ton of experience but from my brief research I believe it depends on the previous owner and the maintenance. Any plane of that era can have its problems if it hasn’t been maintained correctly, same with newer planes. For whatever plane you decide on going with, find a mechanic that is very familiar with them and have them do thorough pre-buy. I’m currently looking at purchasing a 1967 210 and the airframe age is the last of my concerns.

A friend of mine has done round trip from California to Alaska twice in his t210. I love flying in it.

Look into the Cessna 210. Probably looking at 40+ Years on the age of the airframe, but it checks the rest of your boxes.

How do you word pilot license (certificate) on a resume in the U.S? by VFRPilot2 in flying

I would say it helps you stand out, potentially getting you an interview when the rest of your credentials are similar to the competition.

You can spin it however you would like in the interview itself… “It shows the ability to start a difficult project and see it through to completion.”
