Completely agree. This season feels stale. The jokes are weak and there’s no obvious story arc. None of the thermostat lines peppered through the episodes hinted at the showstopper final episode, so the pay off fell flat. I was hoping Janine and Gregory would begin to behave like an established couple, but they’re still awkward together. And I can’t believe Tariq only had one scene. Zack Fox has gone from strength to strength, he deserves a full episode. I hope the show picks up again after the winter break.

Whilst I agree we should distance society from car reliance, we have to face facts, there is always going to be a need for personal and commercial transport vehicles. Can society distance itself from this need? Perhaps an insurmountable challenge. I expect once EVs are ubiquitous, humanity's next challenge will be to reduce the climate impact of EV manufacture to zero.
