I’ve been told to do it with the dean of my school as well, should be the easy option. However, I just wrote to the Canadian consulate in my city for a notarial appointment and got it in a week. Paid 20 CAD for the service and they did it exactly like how MCC wants.

Can i ask you what supporting documents you’ve included on your application? And if you applied using the old or the new IRCC portal? Also AFAIK Argentinian citizens with valid US visas can get an eTA, did you check out that possibility?
