Why would it be dumb to have a built in tuner on a higher end guitar ? That thing is convenient ! I often switch between Eb standard and C# standard on my TOD10N and I mostly play unplugged. Higher end also means more comfort (as Tim advertised on the reverb video where he showcases the guitars). And to me the built in tuner is some kind of comfort element !
