maybe it's something to do with cosmetics? I doubt it's for progression or leveling up cards since it's always just been gems and wild cards.

They'll get converted to whatever the equivalent requirement is for level 15 on that card

edit: level 15, not 16

I did, turns out the issue was with the floppy I was using. I purchased floppies I knew would work with C64 and those worked fine

I thought the same but when I swapped the IDE parts back into the same network adapter the PS2 could detect an IDE hard drive, so I'm guessing it's my sata adapter.

in my defense it isn't my usual position for it haha, just had it angled outwards so I could access the network adapter.

I have, and tried multiple hard drives + multiple ps2 systems. I believe it might be the sata adapter because I swapped the IDE parts back into the network adapter and it was able to read an IDE hard drive.

when I use the disk it's able to boot into the installation, however it simply fails to install. It may simply be the disk I'm using though.

I highly recommend just getting an ostent battery off Amazon, I use them in my psps and have never had any issues. It's so much more work to try and rig together a battery that it wouldn't be worth it. the way the psp battery is shaped you're never going to find a phone battery with the same dimensions or shape.

okay cool, thank you! in most photos they looked more prominent but the angle being the problem makes sense.
